Meet the Sacramento Team Behind Penhallow Remodeling Sacramento
The people carrying tool bags into your home are the biggest reason a remodeling job goes right or wrong. Our Sacramento crew runs lean on purpose. You’ll see the same faces through the whole project, not a rotating cast of day laborers with a different foreman each week. Everyone who works under the Penhallow name arrives background-checked, in uniform, and paid to care about the 365-Day Done Right Promise as much as Trevor does. We hire slowly because the standard on a $30,000 kitchen isn’t something you train for in a weekend.

Our People

Trevor Nash, Owner
Trevor runs Penhallow Remodeling Sacramento the way he would want a contractor to run a job inside his own house. He’s the one who walks the site before we quote, writes the price down, and signs his name to it. Before opening the Sacramento location, Trevor spent years as a finish carpenter and project lead, which means he can tell you the difference between a caulk line that will crack in six months and one that will hold for fifteen years. He’d rather lose a bid than cut a corner that shows up later as a callback. When he’s not on job sites, you’ll find him restoring a 1960s Shasta trailer in his driveway and pretending it doesn’t need more sheet metal work than it does.
Mike D., Lead Technician
Mike has been setting cabinets and hanging doors for over twenty years, the last six of them in the Sacramento area. He’s the person most likely to catch a framing issue before it becomes a tiling issue, because he understands how walls actually move through a Sacramento summer. His specialty is remodel sequencing: knowing exactly when the plumbing stub-out happens, when the drywall goes back on, and why doing it out of order costs you a week. Mike is weirdly particular about drawer glide alignment. If your kitchen drawers close with that soft, even pull, Mike installed them.
Rosa G., Senior Installer
Rosa came up through finish work and tile, and she’s the one who handles the wet areas that punish shortcuts. She installs cement board substrate (the moisture-resistant layer behind your tile) like someone who has demoed enough water-damaged bathrooms to know exactly what happens when it’s done wrong. Rosa also runs point on fixture installation, from Kohler and Moen faucets to full shower systems. Her standard move is to lay out every tile before a single one gets mortared, so you never end up with a sliver cut running along the top of the wall. She keeps a spreadsheet of Sacramento tile suppliers and what they actually have in stock, which has saved more than one project timeline.
Daniel C., Service Coordinator
Daniel is the voice on the phone when you call (279) 300-1177, and he’s trained to answer like a human being, not a script. He schedules the walkthroughs, confirms the arrival window, and makes sure the written price you’re holding was prepared against the right scope of work. Daniel keeps material lead times updated in real time, so nobody tells you cabinets are six weeks out when the actual lead time just slipped to nine. He’s the glue between our trade crews and your calendar. Most remodeling horror stories start with poor communication, and Daniel’s entire job is making sure that doesn’t happen on a Penhallow job.
Elena R., Apprentice
Elena is a second-year apprentice working directly under Mike, and she’s already earned her own set of responsibilities on trim and job site protection. Every Penhallow apprentice follows the same path: watch, practice, get checked, then work. Elena spent her first three months learning how to tape off a hallway properly and protect finished floors, because we think the unglamorous stuff is where professionalism actually lives. She’s currently learning cabinet installation and has an eye for the small reveal gaps that separate a crisp built-in look from something that reads as a handyman special. If she’s at your house, Mike or Rosa is always on site with her.
One Standard, Every Job
The names above all work for the Sacramento location, but they operate to The Kingswell Way: say the price before the work. Show up in the window we gave. Leave the place cleaner than we found it. Those rules have been the backbone of the Kingswell family of companies since 2004, and each location is independently owned and operated. For us in Sacramento, that independence means every guarantee is backed locally by Trevor, not by a distant corporate office. The 365-Day Done Right Promise works because actual people on the ground are accountable for it. If something fails inside the guarantee window, the same team returns and makes it right, no charge and no second-guessing. The written price on day one is the invoice at the end, and a live person at our number has the authority to explain exactly where your project stands. Background checks, uniform shirts, and a real answer when you call aren’t extras. They’re the basics we refuse to skip.
